A development drawing from the Hanna Barbera animated series "The New Shmoo" (1979). Featuring a great illustration of Shmoo being rescued from a dangerous mountain climbing situation, the graphite drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Measuring 12.5"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 10"x6", the drawing is in very good condition with discoloration, edge and corner wear, creasing around the top right corner, light graphite smudging, and general handling wear.
