An original production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Apocalypse maniacally laughing as he explains his plans to Mister Sinister, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season four episode "Beyond Good and Evil, Part II: Promise of Apocalypse," which aired on November 11, 1995. Measuring 9"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6.5"x9.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor scratches, surface wear, light line fade, and paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for display purposes.
